is the mission of Tiverton High School to ensure that every student is successful, regardless of their plans post-secondary education. We take great pride in ensuring every student learn in a safe, respectful learning environment; is challenged in a purposeful, student-centered manner, and be able to read critically, write effectively, and communicate to a variety of audiences.
As your child participates in program tailored to their needs, we will also work to ensure every student can work in a collaborative team, be encouraged to live a healthy lifestyle, and demonstrate good practices that result in protecting and sustaining the environment.
Please reach out to the high school if you ever have any questions or comments, 401-624-8494.

High School offers a wide variety of supportive services to assist
students in their educational and social development as well as
promoting emotional well-being. While students are able to access
information through the health curriculum and are provided support from
the guidance department, other services are available through the
Student Assistance Program and through adjunct personnel.
Tiverton School Department is committed to community service. Community
service is more than a graduation requirement at Tiverton High School.
The school culture is infused with Service-Learning. This teaching and
learning strategy provides meaningful opportunities that promote
personal, social, and intellectual growth, as well as civic
responsibility and career exploration.
As a part of the educational experience at Tiverton High School students
are encouraged to experience the “real world”. The Community
Service-Learning Program seeks to encourage students to try out
activities and opportunities that are different from those to which they
are normally exposed; in this way their education is enhanced and their
understanding of their community and the world is broadened.
