Dear Fourth Grade Families,
We are approaching the end of the school year for our fourth graders. Since they will be leaving
Pocasset, we have some special activities planned. Here’s a list of activities for you:
Friday, May 26: 2:15 pm Our Memorial Day Ceremony in our playground - Wear
Red/White/Blue Day
Thursday, 6/1: Fourth Grade to visit TMS - permission slips will be sent home next week and
are required
Friday, 6/4: 7-9:30 pm Fourth Grade Only PTO Movie Night outside in Baseball Field
Tuesday 6/6: 6 pm Grade 4 Parent Orientation to TMS
Thursday 6/8: 7 pm Grade 4 Strings Concert at THS
Monday 6/12: 6:30 pm Grade 4 Music and Art Assembly in Pocasset Gym
Tuesday 6/13: Grade 4 Field Trip to the RI State House with Senator Walter Felag and
Representative Jay Edwards (both representing Tiverton)
Wednesday 6/14: 2:00 pm Color Run!!!
Thursday 6/15: Field Day and Sports Dress Up Day!!! 9:15-11:30 Grades 1-4
Friday 6/16: 9:30 am Grade 4 Promotion Ceremony and Grade 4: Dress Your Best Day
Our Promotion Ceremony will be held outside in the Baseball Field (weather permitting). It is
approximately 30 minutes long. After the ceremony, if you wish to take your child home with you
please sign your child out with their homeroom teacher (either Ms. Cornell or Mrs. Pieroni).
