Safety Care provides our staff with trauma-informed care-compatible strategies for preventing and managing behavioral challenges by using evidence-based and practical techniques from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS)! It’s Thankful Thursday at Ranger School as we continue to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! 🐯
Pre-registration is for students who are new to Tiverton Public Schools only. All registrations are completed utilizing the Online Registration Portal. Registration information may be submitted at your convenience from a computer or Chromebook at home, or via a kiosk located at our administration office Monday-Friday. The Online Registration Portal will not work on a cell phone. Please call 401-816-0466 to schedule access to the kiosk.
Kindergarten Registration: Every child who has attained or will have attained five (5) years of age on or before September 1 of any school year shall be eligible to attend kindergarten during all the days that the kindergartens are in session during the school year.

It’s a scientific fact that The 2023 Ranger School Science Fair was out of this world! 🚀47 junior scientists dazzled their friends, families and teachers with incredible experiments, presentations and demonstrations.

Ranger students kicked-off the month of March by celebrating Dr. Seuss’s Birthday with a Wicked Wacky Wednesday!!
Kindergarteners at Ranger School traveled back in time today to practice some of the skills they’ve learned from their current Wit & Wisdom Module-America Now & Then. They really know how to use a washboard! 😍 Great job, Tigers! 🐯

The School Committee will receive a Special Education Services presentation followed by an Open Forum on 1/24 at 7 pm in THS library. Please join us.
Starting next school year, the Tiverton School Committee in conjunction with the administration is considering providing all special education services in our schools and removing the district from the Newport County Regional Special Education Program.
To help make the best decision on this matter the School Committee will receive a presentation on the reason and rationale for this recommendation, followed by an Open Forum for staff and community members to offer their feedback/input.

Tiverton School District Official Statement on SRO
As of December 23rd, 2022, our SRO is no longer employed by the Tiverton School District. We were made aware of a situation and are working with the proper authorities as required.
No students were harmed or in harms way in the reported incidents, and Tiverton Police continues to provide SRO support for the School District.
