Thanks to a collaboration with students in @TivertonHighSchool 's Marine Carpentry Technology CTE Program and Mr. Phillips, the Kindergarteners (or shall we say Kinder Gardeners?) at Fort Barton School have a new raised bed garden. These soon-to-be first graders have already put the new garden to use, planting herbs and vegetables with support from Ms. Peckham and Ms. Edwards. In the Fall, the garden will aid in students' learning about the needs of plants. #TomorrowStartsHere #FortBartonProud

On April 1, 2023, sixth graders from Tiverton Middle School competed in the National History Day Contest at Toll Gate High School. They worked for months researching their topics, writing scholarly papers to defend their research, and created innovative projects to represent all they learned over the course of four months. Incredibly, for the first time in Tiverton’s history, TMS students earned 1st place in their respective categories! Elena, Abby, and Will are now moving on to the National Competition at the University of Maryland from June 11th-June 15th! Please consider a donation that will help our students get to DC to compete for the National Title in this once in a lifetime experience! https://www.gofundme.com/f/elena-abby-will-get-to-dc?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_content=undefined&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer&utm_term=undefined&mibextid=Zxz2cZ
